Marissa and David

First off, I love these two people! Over the past few months Andrew and I have had dinner with them every Sunday. They are the cutest couple, as you can see. I was so happy that they gave me the opportunity to test a new photographing style on them for their save the dates! And I love how these turned out. It helps when your clients are basically models….not joke, I am pretty sure they have both modeled before! Thanks Marissa and David. Love you guys!

Styled Bride and Bridesmaids

This was such a fun styled shoot I did with my friend Katie Brown! I love getting together with other creative people. Magic happens!

Here are the creatives I worked with for this photo shoot, and their instagram tags:

models @haileyturley @imlarahues @ana_.oc / creative director & planner & florals @katiedalebrown / photographer & planner (yours truly) @christine.b.photo / hair and makeup @bellacgrr
My favorite part of this photo shoot was the posing style. Before the session started I talked to the models about how I wanted them to get close and comfortable with each other because I wanted the relationship between the “bride” and her “bridesmaids” to be affectionate and sisterly. I wanted it to look like they had been best friends for years! On the other hand, this is a styled shoot. So lets get fashionable with it! We decided to take on some editorial poses as well. It was varied, it was fun, and it was FREEZING AND RAINING! But these girls nailed it!
Thanks for an awesome photo shoot girls.

Emerald and Kevin!

Only 3 months later and I am finally getting around to updating my website! Life with kids is busy and hard.

I have so many feelings towards this family and these photos. Thank you to Emeralds mom, Ginger for taking a chance on me. This is my first wedding, and I know that can be nerve racking for some clients. I had so much fun and am really happy with how the photos turned out. Emerald and Kevin have such a pure and fun love. They were smiling and laughing the whole day! I loved watching them, and I loved being a part of their big day.

This photo shoot was also special for me because it confirmed to me that not only can I totally do this, but also that I LOVE photographing weddings! There is just something so special about capturing two people who are so in love!

Congratulations Emerald and Kevin, I hope married life is treating you well.

Fig Themed Styled Wedding Shoot

It all started with a craving for wedding cake. Since I did not have cake on hand to eat, I turned to Pinterest and found a beautiful cake that I fell in love with! It was classy, yet rustic and had beautiful berries on it. My favorite part was the figs. So I contacted a friend of mine, Katie Brown, and together we set together to make this vision a reality!

Thank you to all who donated their services and time. I really appreciate it!

Alyssa and Brandon: Post Wedding Picnic (Styled Shoot)

I am in love with this mini styled shoot. Alyssa and Brandon were the perfect, light hearted and simply in love couple that helped give the whole shoot a naturally romantic vibe. Couple that with my amazing creative director, Katie Brown, who set up the picnic and helped push me out of my box a bit by climbing some cliffs, and we have a drool worthy photo shoot. At least I am drooling over it.

These were taken off of 17 mile drive. California decided to set the mood for us and make it a super foggy day, but I think that just adds to the photos. Thanks Alyssa, Brandon, and Katie for helping me create such beautiful images!

Mallory and Damian

I was the given the awesome opportunity to be a part of Damian’s proposal to his girlfriend Mallory. It was so fun to help pick out a beautiful spot and share in the anticipation. But most of all, I loved photographing them, they are so sweet and absolutely adorable together.

Here are a few of the shots, it was seriously hard to decide what photos to share because I love them all!

Congrats you two!!!!!

Sara and Alex

Another cute couple and another awesome wedding dress shoot! Sara and Alex were great sports as I tried to appease my creative mind and take advantage of this beautiful location.

I am so happy with how these photos turned out! The light was perfect and Sara and Alex posed like pros. I also love how Sara’s dress totally matches the wispy trees and golden hour light. Thanks, for giving me a wonderful shoot and for giving me yet another reason why I love being a photographer.DSC_0093DSC_0102DSC_0124DSC_0150DSC_0271DSC_0303DSC_0383
