Grandparents Are Special

DSC_1851.jpg

As I posted yesterday, my in-laws are in town. We did a whole lot today! We went to both Cannery Row and the Fishermans Warf, and we went to Point Pinos and Asilomar Beach, as well as watched the sunset at the beach in Carmel-by-the-sea. So yeah, it was a busy day.

Cora is young, and maybe too young to remember today with her Nonna and Obi and Uncle Evan and Aunt Amanda. But with Andrew and I being in the military I really hope that we have many opportunities for Cora to spend time with her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins. Those are memories that she will treasure, especially the memories with her grandparents.

I can’t help but think about my grandparents, and not that I don’t have great memories with them, I do wish I had more memories with them. Especially with my grandparents who have passed away, I no longer have the opportunity to make memories with them here on earth.

Grandparents are special. If you still have a grandparent living, hug them close and try to make the most of the time you have with them.

That is all. Sorry my thoughts are super jumbled right now, it’s late.
